Netflix is bringing an inspiring story of gratitude and community to audiences with One Last Order, a short documentary premiering November 24, 2026.

Directed by Lauren DeFilippo and Sam Soko, the documentary follows Sighle Williams (pronounced Sheila), a longtime employee of Mac’s Drive-Thru in Gainesville, Florida, who spent 37 years taking orders and serving generations of customers.

As Williams prepares to retire, she anticipates a quiet farewell. However, her final day takes an unexpected turn when the restaurant’s owner announces that every dollar earned at the drive-thru that day will go directly to her as a retirement gift. What follows is an emotional community-wide celebration honoring the woman who has become a familiar and cherished part of the town.

Produced by Insignia Films, LBx Africa, and the Harnisch Foundation, One Last Order earned recognition throughout its film festival run, including Best Short Film at the Naples International Film Festival and honors at Aspen Shortsfest.

Following its successful festival reception, Netflix acquired the film for Oscar consideration, bringing Williams’ remarkable story of dedication, kindness, and community appreciation to a global audience.

One Last Order premieres November 24, 2026, exclusively on Netflix.
