Tanjareen Thomas (born May 30 in Inglewood, California) is an American actress, producer, comedian, and media personality whose dynamic career spans television, film, radio, and digital content. With a Bachelor of Arts in TV/Film Production & Management from California State University, Northridge, Thomas began performing in local theater at a young age and transitioned into a versatile screen career that has showcased her comedic talent and dramatic range.
Thomas continued to expand her film résumé with roles in projects such as Almost Christmas (2016), Barbershop: The Next Cut (2016), and the indie comedy I Got the Hook Up 2 (2019), showcasing her versatility across studio comedies and independent productions. On television, she became widely known for her scene-stealing recurring role as Yolanda on Bounce TV’s hit series Family Time, where her comedic performance earned her a devoted fan base. She has also appeared in popular series including Insecure, The Upshaws, Run the World, and Grey’s Anatomy, further demonstrating her range in both comedy and drama.
