Biography

Kenan Thompson is an Emmy Award–winning comedian, actor, and producer widely recognized as the longest-tenured cast member in the history of Saturday Night Live. Since joining the iconic NBC sketch series in 2003, Thompson has become one of its most reliable and versatile performers, known for standout characters, celebrity impressions, and sharp comedic timing. His work on the show has earned multiple Primetime Emmy Awards and nominations, cementing his legacy as one of the most influential sketch comedians of his generation.

 

Thompson first rose to prominence as a teen star on Nickelodeon, where he headlined the groundbreaking sketch comedy series All That before co-leading the hit sitcom Kenan & Kel. His early success extended to film with the cult comedy Good Burger, a role he reprised decades later in Good Burger 2, which he also executive produced.
