Candy Mclellan

Candy McLellan is an Atlanta-based actress, director, and choreographer whose work spans television, film, and theatre. She is known for her performances in Will Trent, Florida Man, The Resident, Hawkeye, Creepshow, Sistas, Atlanta, Found, Sweet Magnolias, and P-Valley.

McLellan has continued to build an extensive screen career with appearances in Murdaugh: Death in the Family, Grosse Pointe Garden Society, Merv, Freedom Hair, and David Fortune’s feature film Color Book, in which she portrays Nakia.

Her television credits include both guest and recurring roles, including Officer Lacey in Florida Man, Ciara Bullock in The Resident, Samurai in Marvel’s Hawkeye, Phyllis Allenbee in Creepshow, Cathey/Cathy in Tyler Perry’s Sistas, and Patty in Will Trent.

A versatile stage performer as well, McLellan’s theatre credits include The Color Purple, Caroline, or Change, An Octoroon, Cinderella, The Play That Goes Wrong, The Wiz, Passing Strange, Tiny Beautiful Things, and Legally Blonde. She has also performed with Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre, Aurora Theatre, City Springs Theatre, Theatrical Outfit, and other regional companies.

McLellan is a graduate of the University of West Georgia and completed an acting apprenticeship at Aurora Theatre. In addition to acting, she works as a director and choreographer, continuing to develop her career across multiple areas of the performing arts.
