Biography
Adriyan Rae (born October 7, 1994, in Seaford, Delaware) is an American actress, producer, voice performer and former medical laboratory scientist who has emerged as a versatile presence across television, film, and interactive media. After earning dual degrees in Physician Assistant Studies and Medical Laboratory Science from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and becoming a certified Medical Laboratory Scientist, she relocated to Atlanta and discovered her passion for acting, making her screen debut in the independent Netflix feature Burning Sands. Rae’s early work included guest roles on series such as Fatal Attraction, Star, and Atlanta, before landing the lead role of Elida in Syfy’s science fiction drama Vagrant Queen (2020) and a recurring turn as paramedic Gianna Mackey on NBC’s Chicago Fire (2020–2021). She gained wider recognition starring as Brittany Pitts on Paramount+’s reboot of The Game (2021–2023) and appeared in Hulu’s Light as a Feather and BET’s American Soul. Her film credits include supporting roles in Superfly and the indie feature Welcome Matt.
In 2024–2025 Rae expanded her television portfolio with guest arcs on CBS’s Poppa’s House and joined the cast of Mara Brock Akil’s Netflix adaptation of Forever as Brittany, a recurring role in the coming‑of‑age drama. In 2025 she also made a significant mark in the gaming world, providing voice and performance capture for the lead character Hazel in South of Midnight, earning a Golden Joystick Award nomination for Best Lead Performer for her work in the title. Rae’s performance in Atlanta earned her notice in awards conversations, including a Black Reel Awards nomination for Television for her guest work. Known for her range across genres—from science fiction and ensemble drama to comedy and horror—Rae continues to build a body of work that highlights strong, nuanced characters across mediums, distinguishing herself as a multi‑talented talent in Hollywood.
