The True to the Game franchise is expanding with a fourth film, True to the Game: Quadir’s Redemption, set to debut on Paramount+ December 15.
Erica Peeples, Columbus Short and Vivica A. Fox return alongside Iyana Halley, Starletta Dupois, Andra Fuller, Kris D. Lofton and Lisa Renee Pitts, reprising their respective roles from the previous films.
Directed by Salvatore Sclafani and written by Manny Halley, the latest chapter continues the story of Gena Rollins (Peeples) and Quadir Richards (Short) as they attempt to build a future together despite Quadir’s dangerous connections to the drug trade. However, unexpected questions surrounding Gena’s baby threaten to disrupt their relationship and change their lives forever.
Manny Halley also serves as executive producer through Imani Media Group.
Inspired by Teri Woods’ bestselling 1998 novel, True to the Game launched in 2017, followed by True to the Game 2: Gena’s Story in 2020 and True to the Game 3 in 2021. Ahead of the fourth film’s arrival, all three previous installments will become available exclusively on Paramount+ beginning December 1.
With familiar faces returning and another chapter of Gena and Quadir’s complicated love story unfolding, Quadir’s Redemption continues the crime-thriller saga for longtime fans.
