Ronnie Hudson II

Ronnie Hudson II is an American actor whose career has steadily expanded across independent film, television, and regional productions. Born and raised in Wadley, Georgia, Hudson is the youngest of three sons of the late Ronnie Hudson Sr. and Kathryn Hudson. After spending more than 15 years working as an electrical and systems engineer, he pursued acting professionally in 2016, building his craft through regional theater, musicals, and independent films throughout Central Illinois and the Chicago area before transitioning into television and feature work.

Hudson gained early recognition with his award-winning performance in the dramatic short The Premiere, earning the Best Actor Award at the 2021 Manitou Film Festival. Since then, he has compiled an impressive list of screen credits, appearing in NBC’s Chicago P.D. and Chicago Fire, as well as projects including The Other Wife, Fatal Attraction, Jada, Weapons of Warfare, Dawgs 4 Life, Till Death Do Us 2, Hyde Out, Judge Knott: The Movie, The Good News, While Waiting, and the acclaimed faith-based series Sundays After Church, in which he portrays Pastor Gerald Clayton. His performances have established him as a versatile character actor capable of moving seamlessly between drama, action, crime, and inspirational storytelling.
