Kountry Wayne (born DeWayne Jamarr Colley) is an American comedian, actor, writer, and digital content creator whose rise from viral social media storyteller to mainstream entertainment force has made him one of the most recognizable comedic voices of his generation. Born in Millen, Georgia, Wayne built a devoted audience through his highly shareable sketch comedy videos, blending Southern charm, relationship humor, family dynamics, and faith-based observations into a style that resonated across platforms. His breakout online success quickly evolved into a broader entertainment career, helping him establish himself as a crossover talent in stand-up, television, film, and live touring. He first gained major mainstream visibility with appearances on MTV’s Wild ‘N Out, and continued expanding his screen presence with roles in projects such as BET’s Holiday Heartbreak, the Amazon Prime feature Strange Love, and Peacock’s musical comedy film Praise This, where he appeared alongside a cast that included Chloe Bailey, Quavo, and Druski.
