Garcelle Beauvais is a Haitian-American actress, model, and television personality whose career spans over three decades, known for her commanding screen presence and versatility across comedy, drama, and action. Born on November 26, 1966, in Saint-Marc, Haiti, Beauvais began her career as a model, appearing in campaigns for major brands before transitioning to acting. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Francesca “Frankie” Stone on the critically acclaimed police drama NYPD Blue (1996–1999), earning a NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series. Concurrently, she charmed audiences as Simone, the love interest of Jamie Foxx on The Jamie Foxx Show (1996–2001), showcasing her comedic timing and on-screen charisma.

 

Beauvais’ film career includes a mix of comedy, action, and family-friendly films. She appeared in the iconic comedy Coming to America (1998), starred opposite Channing Tatum in White House Down (2013), and played the role of Principal Delmar in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017).
