Cynthia Bailey (born February 19, 1967) is an American model, television personality, actress, and entrepreneur whose multifaceted career spans fashion, reality TV, film, and scripted television. Bailey first gained prominence as a high‑fashion model in the late 1980s and 1990s, gracing runway shows in Paris and Milan and appearing on the covers of major magazines before transitioning into acting with early roles in films such as Without You I’m Nothing (1990) and For Love or Money (1993), and guest appearances on series like The Cosby Show and New York Undercover.

 

She became a household name in 2010 when she joined the main cast of Bravo’s hit reality series The Real Housewives of Atlanta, where her personal and professional life—marriages, business ventures, and high‑fashion sensibility—was documented across more than a decade on the franchise. Bailey’s reality work also includes competition series such as Celebrity Big Brother (finishing in the final three) and a notable win on Hulu’s Got to Get Out in 2025, and she has been recognized for her contributions to the genre with a nomination for Reality Royalty at the American Reality Television Awards.
