Taylour Paige

Taylour Paige (born October 5, 1990 in Santa Monica, California) is an American actress and producer celebrated for her electric performances across television and film. She first garnered attention playing Ahsha Hayes on VH1’s sports drama Hit the Floor (2013–2016), where her athleticism and intensity helped distinguish her early career. Paige broke out on the big screen with the SXSW favorite Jean of the Joneses (2016), earning critical praise for her lead turn. She achieved widespread acclaim for her fearless starring role in the dark comedy Zola (2020), for which she won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead, firmly establishing her as a bold and compelling screen presence.

Following Zola, Paige appeared in an array of diverse projects. She delivered a memorable supporting turn in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (2020), earning an NAACP Image Award nomination, and continued to expand her range with roles in films such as Boogie (2021), the indie Sharp Stick (2022) — which she also executive produced — Mack & Rita (2022), The Toxic Avenger (2023), Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F (2024), Brothers (2024), and The Trainer (2024).

In addition to her film work, Paige has made notable strides on television. She starred as Charlotte Hanlon in HBO’s IT: Welcome to Derry (2025– ), a high-profile prequel to the beloved horror franchise that has broadened her audience and showcased her versatility in genre storytelling.

Paige also crossed into music, earning a Grammy Award nomination for her feature performance on Kendrick Lamar’s spoken-word track “We Cry Together” from Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers (2022), blending her dramatic chops with cultural impact beyond film and TV.

Looking ahead to 2026, Paige stars as Mariah in I Love Boosters, an ensemble crime comedy directed by Boots Riley about a stylish crew of professional shoplifters targeting a ruthless fashion mogul. The film — featuring a cast that includes Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, LaKeith Stanfield, Don Cheadle, and Demi Moore — will premiere as the opening night film at the 2026 South by Southwest (SXSW) Film & TV Festival and is slated for wide release on May 22, 2026.
