Biography

Maggy Francois is an American casting director, costume designer, writer, and creative producer whose multifaceted career spans film, television, commercials, and large-scale media productions. She has built a distinctive presence behind the camera as a specialist in costume design and casting for both narrative and branded projects while also contributing creatively in writing and publicity roles.

 

Francois is known on screen and in production for her work on notable projects such as A House of Dynamite (2025), where she served in the costume and wardrobe department, the holiday feature St. Kissed (upcoming), and The Class Reunion (in post-production). She also was casting director for the 2024 TV movie A Wesley South African Christmas and has contributed extensively to series like Hush and BET Her Presents: The Waiting Room, undertaking roles that range from casting director and costume designer to writer and unit publicist.

 

Beyond traditional screen credits, Francois’s career is defined by her versatility across creative disciplines.
