William “Will” Catlett (born October 16, 1982 in Alexandria, Virginia) is an American actor, producer, and writer known for his versatile screen presence across television and film. Catlett began his on‑screen career with guest roles on series such as The Mentalist before gaining early recognition in Issa Rae’s digital series First and as a lead in OWN’s drama Love Is___, where he also contributed in the writers’ room. He later appeared in the CW hit Black Lightning and HBO’s Lovecraft Country, building a strong television résumé that showcased his range from drama to genre storytelling. In film, Catlett appeared in Charm City Kings (2020) and the A.V. Rockwell drama A Thousand and One, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. He expanded his work into horror with roles in Abigail (2024) and Never Let Go (2024), while continuing to balance character work in dramatic features.
On television, Catlett was a series regular as Paul Lancaster in Apple TV+’s Constellation (2024) and recurred on Netflix’s Forever (2025) as Quincy.
