Jemarcus Kilgore

Jemarcus Kilgore (born and raised in Athens, Georgia) is an Atlanta-based actor, writer and producer known for his dynamic work across television, film and stage. Kilgore began his acting journey at the age of 12 and has since built a diverse résumé that spans genre television and independent film, showcasing his range and versatility.

On television, he is best recognized for his portrayal of Spyder on STARZ’s crime drama BMF (2024–2025) and Montel on The CW’s superhero series Black Lightning (2021), and most recently as Ezra Greene in the Hulu comedy All’s Fair (2025). His film credits include Under His Influence (2023), in which he appeared as Young Sadiq, and he played Luca in the acclaimed short Breakup Weekend (2023), for which he earned multiple festival nominations — including Best Actor nods at the 2024 Diversity in Cannes Short Film Showcase, Fall 2023 Southern Shorts Awards and selections at the Denton Black Film Festival — helping to cement his rising profile on the independent scene. Prior to his on-screen success he also built stage credits in productions such as Sister Act, The Wiz, and Covenant at The Alliance Theater.

With several acting, writing and producing projects in development to include his upcoming short and accompanying feature, ‘Darren And Anissa,’ Kilgore continues to expand his impact as a storyteller and performer in contemporary entertainment.
